Water
rights 87 and 92 are perennial springs and ponds that are typically full and
overflowing. The spring associated with water right 87 has an average and
maximum flow of 2.8 and 18.8 gallons per minute respectively. The spring
associated with water right 92 has an average and maximum flow of 3.0 and
22.2 gallons per minute respectively. Water rights 84 and 93 have not been
located or field verified.
The USDA -FS has two decreed water rights located west of the permit
boundary. The spring associated with water right 83 has an average
and maximum flow of 0.08 and 0.50 gallons per minute respectively. The
Operator considers the pond associated with water right 76 to be a good
pond because it contains water in the spring and into the summer under
normal weather conditions.
Additionally, high value springs have been identified on USDA -FS managed
land within the permit boundary.
