It is accessed by about 700 feet <br />of road, +ohtch intersects the Grouse Spnngs road to the north. 'Lhr site was constructed <br />in 2000 and subuyuently reclaimed. ltevegetation on I I stay, 2004 +ra.. 3-6 inches in <br />height with about 50-70°o ground cover Surrounding vegetation consists ol'spccies <br />consistent with the mountain shrub vegetation community such as Gambol oak, <br />snowixm, sen~iu;txrn~ and chokechem There is a component of grass'fi>rb vegetation <br />in the meadow to the north of the location about 300 Ceet. A small clone oftransition <br />aspen lies 3UU-400 fee, to the south. Another aspen stand lies about ri00 feet to the cast. <br />'Phis stand has a thriving snowbem~ understory The overstory is decadent with an open <br />canopy caused by mortality of the older aspen.
