for each species ranged from 12.0 years for chokecherry to 28.6 years
for Gambel oak.
Using the regression irodels provided in Tables 6-12 and the results of
aspen basal area and shrub height estimates, average ages of shrub
stands and aspen within the different vegetation types are shown in
Table 13. While certain limitations are necessarily imposed on the use
of these average age dete~~~~tions by the law R2 values fcr size-age
models of some species, they still provide a good picture of age
characteristics.
