VEGETATIVE TYPE MAPPING <br />Delineation of vegetation types on the study area is depicted on t9ap 1, <br />Appazdix A. The total acreages of each mapping emit shown on Map 1 are <br />summarized in Table 3. Approximately 22% of the study area is presently <br />disturbed or in the initial stages of reclamation as a result of current <br />mining operations. Approximately 65~ of the area is cromrprised of mixed <br />brush type/aspen subtype vegetation. The aspen subtype alone comprises <br />4.1$ or 112 acres of the total lands. Upland sagebrush is the other <br />major vegetation type on the study area cong~rising 130 of the total <br />acreage.
