Type: Hearth • <br />Location: Surface <br />Size: I.30 meters in diameter (only half of <br />feature is exposed). <br />Affiliation: Unknown <br />Association In close proximity to Feature 1 (stone <br />ring), southwest perimeter <br />Illustration: Map 2 <br />Comment: The feature is a semicircular config- <br />uration of burned sandstone blocks, <br />the blocks ranging from .20 to .SO <br />meters in length. Soil deposits allow <br />only a partial (approximately 50%) view <br />of the feature. <br />2. Type: Stone circle <br /> • <br />Location: Surface <br />Size: 4.6 meters north/south by 4.7 meters <br /> east/west <br />Affiliation.: Unknown. <br />Association.: In close proximity to Feature 1 (hearth) <br />Illustration: Map 2 <br />Comment: A circular stone configuration, partially <br /> intact and partially covered with depo- <br /> sits in the western half. The sandstone <br /> blocks ranged from .20 m to .70 m in <br /> length. The best preservation occurred <br /> in the southeastern quarter where six <br /> blocks are in situ. <br />• <br />20 <br />
