Public Notice
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado
Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on January 28, 2011, a minor revision application (MR-106) to
the Colowyo Coal Mine, Permit No. C-1981-019, operated by Colowyo Coal Company L.P., 5731 State
Highway 13, Meeker, CO 81641 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The Colowyo Coal
Company, LP has submitted a Minor Revision to the permit for the Colowyo Mine. The revision updates
the mine's rill and gully plan in Permit Section 4.14.6. This revision is in response to the Division's 10
May 2010 Midterm Review of the Colowyo Mine. (question 22). This change is administrative in nature.
No New lands are proposed for inclusion or disturbance with this revision. There will be no change in
bond as a result of this revision. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and
Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing.
