Twentymile Coal Company <br />18 LT Utility Borehole — Drilling <br />October 27, 2010 <br />TCC RESPONSIBILITIES <br />1. Provide on site hazard training necessary for contract personnel to operate on the surface. <br />2. Provide initial surveying and target for borehole location. <br />3. Provide 1400' of schedule 80, welded joint, 8 -5/8 inch diameter steel utility pipe. <br />4. Provide 1400' of schedule 80, welded joint, 4 -1/2 inch diameter steel utility pipe. <br />5. Provide cuttings pit for drilling cuttings and fluids. <br />CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, and ordinances. <br />2. The Contractor shall furnish a list of all Contractor personnel to be associated with the project. _ <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for the safety of all Contractor personnel on, in, and around TCC property. <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for providing a water tank and water source for all drilling needs. Bethel Trucking has <br />holding tanks available for water storage. Phil at Bethel Trucking can be contacted at 970- 824 -4923. Josh at Ed's Excavating <br />can be contacted at 970- 734 -8912 for hauling of potable water. <br />0 The Contractor personnel shall wear eye protection, hard hats, steel toed safety- boots with metatarsals reflective leg bands <br />and reflective vests as well as any other required safety equipment at all times when on TCC property. <br />6. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, tools, services, insurance, and supervision for all activities as required by <br />these specifications and parameters. <br />7. The contractor shall provide for all compressed air needs. <br />8. The contractor shall provide for all diesel fuel needs. Trevco services the area and can be contacted at 970 - 824 -5311. <br />9. The contractor shall provide for all welding needs. <br />10. The contractor shall provide for all portable toilet needs. Action Drain services the area and can be contacted at 970 - 824 -2564. <br />11. The Contractor shall warrant that all work to be performed and all materials and equipment to be furnished for the job are free <br />of defects for a minimum period of 1 year from the date of final acceptance of the work. The Contractor shall repair or replace <br />any defective materials and workmanship that may occur within the warrantee period at Contractor's expense. <br />12. The Contractor shall visit the work site prior to the submittal of the proposal and make any necessary observations and /or <br />measurements, and note any conditions under which the work is to be performed. Extra compensation will not be allowed for <br />failure to do so. <br />13. The Contractor shall submit a schedule based upon the date the site is available for construction that defines the Contractor's <br />required timing to successfully complete the project. <br />14.
