0 0 <br />(5) Proposed Uses <br />Storage for mining and milling uses on the Idaho Millsite including but not limited to <br />settling of tailings from the mill outlet. <br />(6) Reservoir Surface Area and Dam Dimensions <br />a) Surface area of reservoir at high water line: 0.4 acres <br />b) Maximum Dam Height: 13 feet. Maximum height from emergency <br />spillway to the lowest natural ground surface along the longitudinal <br />centcrline of the dam: 10 feet .11n-jurisdictional). <br />c) Length of Dam: 200 feet <br />(7) Land Ownership <br />The land upon which the pond will be located is owned by Clements. <br />'10. The Augmentation Plan is described as follow.: <br />(A) Out-of-Priority Diversions to be augmented: those at the Idaho Mill Diversion. <br />(B) Plan Details <br />a) When the IMD surface water right is in priority, water will be diverted at IML) <br />and distributed directly for Idaho Mill operations, to fill Wildcat Augmentation Pond:; 1 <br />and 2, and to fill the Idaho Mill Settling Pond, if necessary. All out of priority diversions <br />under the IMD shall be administered as 100% depletive to the La Plata River. When the <br />IMD is not in priority, diversions for the mill operations from the IMD will continue only <br />to the extent that augmentation water is available in the two Augmentation Ponds to <br />replace diversions. If no water is available in the Augmentation Ponds, then diversions <br />from D41) will cease. <br />b) When the DvID water right decreed herein is in priority, up to 1 c.f.s may be <br />diverted at the IMD to fill the Augmentation Rinds and the Idaho Mill Settling Pond. <br />The l c.f.s diversion rate will allow the Ponds :o be filled quickly if the La Plata Riveris <br />off call only briefly. See Paragraph 8(A)(4). The Augmentation Ponds will have low- <br />level outlet pipes with meters and valves to control releases. There will be no dead <br />storage in the Augmentation Ponds. <br />C) Up to 40 gpm will be needed for normz.l milling operations. 25% of this watcr <br />(10 g.p.m.) will be diverted under the IMD waiver right, and pumped through a pipeline to <br />the Mill inlet, where it will be used for mining and milling purposes. The remaining 75% <br />(30 g.p.m.) will be pumped from the Settling Pond back to the Mill inlet, where it wil l be <br />run through the mill again. The 10gpm., once diverted, will be used and reused to <br />exhaustion. From the Mill outlet, water is delivered to the settling pond. From the <br />6
