Unfortunately, your comments <br />arrived too late for Division consideration for this application. The public comment period for this <br />application closed on 28 February 2011. For your future reference, per Rule 1.7.1, the deadline for <br />public comments on a 1 IOd mining application such as this is ten (10) calendar days after the last <br />date for the newspaper publication of notice of the application. For a 112 application, the deadline <br />is twenty (20) calendar days after the last date for the newspaper publication of notice of the <br />application. It is important to remember that the comments must be received by the close of <br />business on the last day of public comment. A postmark by the deadline day is not acceptable <br />according to the Rule. <br />Please refer to Rule 1.7.1 of the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Hard Rock, Metal, and Designated Mining Operations for specific <br />information and requirements pertaining to public comment.
