Pineda <br />Director <br />RE: Goose Haven Reservoir #2; DRMS File No. M-2010-071; Adequacy Review - 02 <br />Dear Mr. Asquith, <br />The Division has identified several other comments and questions that must be addressed prior to <br />the Division's decision due date. Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily <br />address any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your <br />responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues <br />that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no <br />extension has been requested, the Division will deny this application. <br />6.4.7 Exhibit G - Water Information <br />The Division has completed the review of the Applicant's Groundwater Impact Analysis and <br />concurs with the findings in the report. The Division requests the Applicant submit a <br />groundwater monitoring plan which will be implemented by the Operator to verify the <br />presence or absence of impacts to the groundwater system in the affected land and <br />surrounding area throughout the life of the operation. At a minimum, the monitoring plan <br />should include the location of monitoring stations, frequency of water table elevations to be <br />collected, commitments for reporting measurements to the Division, water level criteria that <br />will be used to determine when an adverse affect to groundwater has occurred, and <br />commitments for mitigation in the event the adverse impact criteria are exceeded. <br />As previously mentioned, if you are unable to provide satisfactory responses to any inadequacies <br />prior to April 15, 2011, it will be your responsibility to request an extension of time to allow <br />for continued review of this application.
