This is the <br />102 soil type. The other 5% is in an area that has already been mined which <br />consists of the 19D soil type. The little vegetation that exist in the 19D area <br />consists mostly of sagebrush, cheat grass, smooth Bromegrass, dalmation toadflax <br />and a few struggling service berry bushes. Current vegetation or lack thereof in, <br />this area makes it a perfect location for a gravel pit. <br />No wetland plant species are present, nor any threatened or endangered plants. <br />Please see Soil Map and soil unit descriptions for additional information. <br />There are no manmade structures within 200' of the proposed mine. <br />The Yampa River flows through the lower valley and is approximately 1/4 mile <br />north of the proposed mine. <br />There are no other water features in the area of the mine site. <br />Helping People Help the Land <br />An Equal Opportunity Employer and Provider
