Colvin <br />Staff Paralegal <br />Via Fax and U S Mail <br />,,Iq- 2-?ol l.- d ©7 <br />Dear Mr. Bird: <br />Qwest has been contacted by Venture Resources, Inc. to provide comments to its Mining Permit <br />Application for Limited Impact (1 IOd) Designated Mining Reclamation associated with the <br />Robert Fulton Reclamation Project. <br />It is Qwest's understanding that this permit does not allow for any underground mining activity, <br />only the removal of mine waste rock dump, and that Venture Resources, Inc. is required to <br />submit a request for a final underground utility locate pursuant to Colorado law. <br />By this letter, Qwest is notifying the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety, Gilpin <br />County and Venture Resources, Inc. that Qwest does have overhead telecommunications <br />facilities within the area described on the Permit. <br />In the event that Qwest's facilities are damaged in any way, due to the work described within the <br />requested Permit Application by Venture Resources, Inc. or any of its contractors, <br />subcontractors, associated vendors, and any and all parties associated with Venture Resources, <br />Inc., Qwest will hold said parties responsible for such damages, and will require full and <br />complete restoration and compensation to restore Qwest's facilities. <br />
