MANAGEMENT <br />I`C'ED <br />MAR 0 2.2011 <br />Divlslon of keciamabon, <br />Mining and Safely <br />The DRMS' adequacy letter for the referenced permit revision noted there was no down <br />dip monitoring of bedrock groundwater for the current or proposed mine workings. <br />Enclosed is a drawing, Figure 1, that shows a proposed location for a bedrock <br />monitoring well(s). It is likely three completions or three separate wells will be required <br />so monitoring can be performed above, within and below the coal seam to be mined. <br />Two proposed down gradient bedrock monitoring well locations are shown, G4 and G5. <br />Please provide comments on the proposed locations. <br />Sincerely, <br />J.
