On behalf of Bear Coal Company, Inc., enclosed is an application <br />for a minor revision to amend the reclamation plan to address the DRMS' concems. <br />1. Page 2.05-27 was revised to indicate that one power pole will remain. By letter dated <br />February 24, 2011, DMEA advised the DRMS that it wanted to leave the power line and <br />power pole in place. Mountain Coal Company's letter referenced below states it is <br />acceptable to leave power pole number 50-HSB98L2 and power line number D2ACSR in <br />place. DMEA's letter should be inserted into Exhibit 12. <br />2. The text on page 2.05-32 was amended to state the bridge will remain in place. By letter <br />dated January 31, 2011, Mountain Coal Company advised Bear that it had no issues with the <br />retention of the bridge. The letter should be inserted into Exhibit 12. <br />3. A statement regarding reclamation of the hillside spring water treatment pond was added to <br />pages 2.05-31 and 2.05-35a. <br />4. The statement regarding the burial of broken concrete on site on page 2.05-27 was <br />removed. The office's concrete foundation was demolished and hauled off site. The <br />statement regarding the burial of broken concrete on site on page 2.05-32 is correct. <br />Broken concrete from the demolition of various concrete foundations was buried as shown <br />on Map 12. An amended Map 12 is enclosed. <br />Amended pages 2.05-27, 31 & 35a are enclosed along with amended Map 12 and letters from <br />DMEA and Mountain Coal Company. <br />0 <br />Sincerely, <br />J.
