This exhibit shows the areas for which Phase II bond release is requested. Exhibit B, Chronological Revegetation. This exhibit presents the chronologic progression • of revegetation within the Phase II Bond Release area. Everything requested has been released from Phase I liability and has also been revegetated for at least two (2) years. Exhibit C, Topsoil Sample Map. This exhibit indicates the locations of the topsoil sampling effort within the overall disturbance area. II. PHASE II BOND RELEASE DOCUMENTATION This application represents the formal request for Phase II Bond Release at the Yoast Mine of 628.6 acres of reclaimed area that complies with applicable revegetation success criteria set forth in Rule 4.15.8. Exhibit A, Phase H Bond Request Area, shows the location of the 628.6 acres included in this request. The amount of bond requested for Phase II release is $2,154,845. The rationale for this request is documented in Attachment H, Bond Release Calculation. • Summary of Reclamation and Management History Reclamation (i.e., topsoil replacement, revegetation, monitoring and maintenance) was begun in 2001 and continued through 2010. This activity is documented in the Annual Reclamation Reports. The only areas requested are those revegetated for two (2) years or more.
