n LJ PUBLIC NOTICE Seneca Coal Company LLC, 37796 Routt County Road 53, P.O. Box 670, Hayden, Colorado 81639, (CDMG Permit No. C-94-082, approved August 5, 1995) intends to request release of Phase II bond liability on 628.6 acres of its reclaimed lands at the Yoast Mine. A surety bond in the amount of $4,305,484 is currently in place and $2,154,845 is being requested for release. Those portions of the mine for which Phase II bond release is requested were topsoiled and revegetated from the beginning of reclamation through 2007 in accordance with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (CDMG) rules and regulations. The Yoast Mine is located approximately 8.5 miles southeast of Hayden, Colorado. The specific area to which this bond release request applies is: T6N, R87W Section 28: Portions of NW'/4 , NW'/4SW'/4, SW ANE'A Section 29: Portions of SE'/4 Section 32: Portions of NW ANFA, W'/2E'/2 T5N. R87W • Section 5: Portions of W'/20/2 Section 8: NW'/4, SW'/4, W'/2NE'/4, and W'/2SE'/4 Section 16: SW'/4NW'/4, NW ASW'/4, and portions of SW'/4SW'/4, NW'/4NW'/4, SE'ANW'/4, NE'/4SW'/4, and NW'/4SE'/4 Section 17: All Section 18: NOASE'A, S1/2SE1/4 Section 19: E'/2 and portions of E'/2W'/2 Section 20: SW'/4NW'/4, N'/2NW'/4, W'/2SW'/4 and portions of N'/2NE'/4 Section 29: NW'/4NW'/4 Section 30: N1/2NE1/4 All west of the 6th Principal Meridian; totaling 2,318.3 acres. The USGS 7.5 Minute Quadrangle Maps for Dunckley and Mt. Harris contain the described affected area. A copy of the bond release application is available for public inspection at the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, Colorado 81639.
