This former underground mine site has been
downsized through previously approved bond release to a disturbed area of about 1.2 acres at the
former NW-1 ventilation shaft. The weather on this day was clear and seasonal. Ground
conditions were excellent. Snow-cover was present only in shaded areas.
RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3:
The site is unchanged since last month's inspection. The growing season has not yet begun due
to prevailing winter conditions. Vegetation remains from previous year's growth and ground
cover is qualitatively rated as good. No rills, gullies, or erosion features are present. Weeds
have not been a problem at this site and none were observed.
ROADS—Rule 4.03
A short section of a road to a monitoring well in Cherry Canyon remains to be backfilled to
grade and reclaimed. The operator should ensure that this work is completed during the coming
field season.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2
Page 2 of 3
