•
A complete discussion of the impacts to Fish Creek by the Seneca II Mine
and the PSCM may be found in this year's Seneca II Mine AHR.
Little Grassy Creek Drainage. Two monitoring sites lie within the Little
Grassy Creek drainage: SSLG5, located in the upper part of Little Grassy
Creek, and NPDES Discharge Point 002, also known as the Wadge
Impoundment or Pond 002.
- Surface Water Site SW-S2-5 (SSLG5). Site 5 drains the upper reaches
of Little Grassy Creek which are undisturbed by mining. A comparison of
its hydrograph to that of NPDES2 indicates that Site 5 is a relatively
minor contributor to the flow in this basin. The TDS plot indicates a
decreasing trend.
- NPDES Discharge Point 002 (NPDES2). Hydrographs are presented in
Appendix D. The hydrographs consist of two pages, the first is for data
this year , and the second shows all historical data. The following table
lists the average flow values for each water year.
2010 = 0.460 cfs (monthly measurements)
2009 = 0.630 cfs if
2008 = 1.112 cfs it
2007 = 0.514 cfs It
2006 = 0.997 cfs
2005 = 0.356 cfs "
2004 = 0.283 cfs "
2003 = 0.323 cfs "
2002 = 0.245 cfs "
2001 = 0.374 cfs "
2000 = 0.320 cfs "
1999 = 0.483 cfs (weekly measurements)
1998 = 1.209 cfs "
1997 = 1.242 cfs "
1996 = 1.400 cfs "
1995 = 0.386 cfs •
1994 = 0.114 cfs "
12
