Monitoring Sites; and the Table of Contents of Appendices C through E
have all been revised to correlate the old site (and map) name to the
new (Paradox) computer name. The new computer name will be used
throughout the following text.
Technical Revision (TR) 69 was approved on May 4, 2010. This TR reduced
the hydrologic monitor plan, both in the number of monitoring sites,
frequencies and analytical parameter lists. Details of the new monitor
plan may be found in the Seneca II-W PAP, Appendix 15-3A of Tab 15.
Table 1 (of the PAP), Current Hydrologic Monitoring Program, has been
revised to reflect these changes. In addition, the Surface and Ground
Water Parameter Lists (Table 2 and 3 of the PAP) have also been changed.
The details of the changes are provided on pages 15-3a-14 and 15 of the
PAP. In general, new short and long surface and ground water parameter
lists were created. Those parameter lists are discussed and provided
later in this AHR. Monitoring at certain surface and ground water sites
was suspended until one year prior to final bond release. Other ground
water wells were approved to be permanently abandoned. Monitoring
frequencies for stream sites have been changed from triannual to
biannual. Monitoring frequencies for alluvial wells have been changed
from biannual (or triannual) to annual. Monitoring frequencies for
bedrock wells will remain annual. These monitoring frequencies will be
increased to their previous frequencies one year prior to final bond
release.
Meteoroloqical Data
Precipitation data is collected from a Belfort Weighing Bucket Rain Gage
situated adjacent to Surface Water Site SW-S2W-FG1. Data for this year
may be found in Table 1. Total monthly precipitation data collected at
this site since Water Year 1990 are presented in Table 2. The Seneca II-
W precipitation gage measured 15.77 inches this year. This value is 1.96
inches (11%) below the 1990-2010 average of 17.73 inches. The months of
December, April, May, June and August were above average. Temperature,
wind speed, and direction data from the Seneca II-W Meteorologic Station 0
2
