The Division has included a copy of the current and proposed permit area maps. The 200 acres is in Township <br />3N, Range 101W, Section 21 (denoted by the yellow highlighted area on proposed Map 2). Although the area <br />will be undermined, there is no new surface disturbance proposed with this revision. The Division would like <br />your agency's determination as to whether additional studies are necessary. <br />Pertinent sections of the permit revision are enclosed. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we <br />request that comments be submitted to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety at the above address by <br />5:00 p.m. on April 23, 2011. If no comments are received by this date, we will proceed on the assumption that <br />your agency has no concerns with or objections to the applicant's proposal. <br />A copy of the entire revision application is also available for public inspection at the Rio Blanco County Clerk and <br />Recorder, 500 Main Street, Meeker, CO 81641, and at the Division office.
