4. Use a planting mix adapted for high elevation, and include such grass species as alpine <br />bluegrass and alpine fescue. Since the post-mining land use will be "Wildlife Habitat", the <br />use of forbs and wildflowers that create bird and other wildlife food should be considered, <br />as well as the planting of such shrubs as serviceberry, currents, mountain mahogany and <br />similar "wildlife friendly species. Consideration should be given to providing occasional <br />supplemental water to establish and maintain all of these reclamation plantings.
