Climax Mine Biosolids Reporting 2010 Habitat Management, Inc. S- Very little composted biosolids were placed for reclamation at the Climax Mine in 2009, instead the approximately 5,500 cy of composted Class A biosolids were stockpiled for use in 2010. The stockpiled biosolids along with new biosolids produced in 2010 were all placed in 2010 for reclamation. Several.areas on Robinson Tailing Pond that were. reclaimed in 2005 and 2006 with only 50 cy/acre of composted biosolids have not been successful and were determined to require additional reclamation. These areas received an additional 400 cy/acre of composted biosolids and were re-ripped and re-seeded in 2010 (Figure 1.). Additionally, Vail Class A biosolids were top-applied at 50 cy/acre to enhance previous reclamation on Robinson Tailing Pond, East Side Channel, and the Storke Yard.
