Legal Description EXHIBIT A <br />Lost Cause Pond is located in Rio Blanco County approximately 42 miles from Meeker. <br />The entrance to the site is from County Road 26: <br />Latitude N39* 49.848"; Longitude W108° 21.411" <br />The approximate center of the affected area is: <br />Latitude N39° 49'.748"; W108° 21'.432" <br />Elevation is 64jW <br />Affected Area Legal Description <br />A parcel of land lying within the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter, Southeast quarter of <br />the Southwest quarter of Section 35, Township 2 South, Range 98 West of the 6'h Principal <br />Meridian, Rio Blanco County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point in the Southeast quarter' of Section 35, Township 2 South, Range 98 West, <br />e Principal Meridian, which point beats N33043'32"E and a distance of 1385.87' from the <br />South quarter corner of said section (Basis of Bearings for this description is the line between the <br />South quarter comer and the East quarter corner which was taken from Global Positioning <br />Satellite Observations to bear N46° 13'34"E, a measured distance of 3732.87 feet notated by <br />1939 brass caps located in a pile of stones); <br />THENCE N42°00'49"E a distance of 1176.62'to the POINT of BEGINNING of the "Affected <br />Area". <br />THENCE along the limits of the affected area the following courses: <br />S16°55'30"E a distance of 542.75 feet; <br />S45°5 1'01"W a distance of 778.61 feet; <br />N64°093'32"W a distance of 429.84 feet to the POINT of BEGINNING. <br />Said parcel contains 9.889 acres more or less.
