Box 1523
LONGMONT, COLORADO 80502
(303) 651-2985
"February 15, 2011
IvMichael Cunningham
Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
RE: Landowners' Response to unresolved problems at Cash and Who Do Mines; DRMS File
No. V83-141, and Gold Hill Mill; DRMS File No. M-994-117
SENT VIA E-MAIL
Dear Mr. Cunningham,
I am writing to you on behalf of the owners of the mining claims where the Cash and Who Do
mines and the Gold Hill Mill are located. The purpose of this letter is to request our inclusion in
any future meetings regarding these permits or inspections at either of these permitted sites. The
companies that I represent also want to be copied on all future correspondence regarding these
two permits.
AGC Resources, LLC is the wholly owned subsidiary of the Aurora Gold Corporation. The
President of the Aurora Gold Corporation has been aware of the problems and violations at the
Gold Hill sites since December 2009. In fact, the Aurora Gold Corporation commissioned Mr.
James Beck to review and prepare a report on the status of the permit problems and violations
created by Mount Royale Ventures, LLC. That report was completed and delivered in April
2010. Although the problems and violations at the Cash and Who Do Mines and the Gold Hill
Mill were created by the previous permitted operator, Mount Royale Ventures, the current
permitted operator, AGC Resources, assumed the responsibility for addressing and correcting
these problems and violations when they became the new permit operators. This occurred on
August 2, 2010.
As the affected landowners, we are very concerned that AGC Resources has done absolutely
nothing to address and actually correct any of the permit violations it inherited from Mount
Royale Ventures. The property owners believe that the problems and permit violations at Gold
Hill are very serious and should have been promptly corrected by AGC Resources. The
Page 1 of 2
