Compliance With Mine Plan <br />N -Other <br />NA - Processing Waste <br />FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />R -Roads <br />R - Reclamation Success <br />N - Revegetation <br />NA - Subsidence <br />N - Slides and Other Damage <br />NA - Support Facilities On -site <br />Y -Signs and Markers <br />NA - Support Facilities Not On -site <br />NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br />Y - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />• Although no wildlife was observed during the inspection, a multitude of tracks were visible <br />in the snow, criss- crossing the permit area. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 - Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4); Surfacing <br />and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6); Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />• Mine roads were covered with approximately 3 inches of snow, 1/2" of which had just fallen <br />during the previous night. <br />• Access of Pond B and Mining Area No. 3 was not attempted due to the slippery road <br />conditions. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />• Pond A had been reclaimed prior to snowfall, as noted in the December 2010 aerial <br />inspection report for this mine. <br />• In spite of the snow - covered ground, it was apparent that the impounding structure has been <br />removed, vegetation (including tamarisk) has been cleared, and that the footprint of the pond <br />has been regraded. <br />• The former site of Topsoil Stockpile #2 also appeared to have been smoothly graded. <br />• Due to the snow cover, it was impossible to determine if the reclaimed / regraded areas had <br />been seeded. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
