Aerial photographs were taken on January 20, 2011 at approximately
4:22 PM. Five photographs were taken during the flyover. Weather conditions appeared to be clear and sunny at
the time of the flight and the site was partially snow covered.
SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04:
Mike Boulay of the DRMS reviewed the aerial photographs. The haul road, portal area, temporary waste pile,
sediment pond, and office location were all visible in the photographs. There was very little activity discernible in
the photographs. The portion of the mine site haul road visible in the photograph was plowed and dry, and
appeared to be well maintained and in good condition.
The portal facilities area is shown in attached Photograph No. 1. A portion of the lower haul road, the temporary
waste pile, sediment pond and topsoil pile are shown in the attached Photograph No. 2. All site locations visible in
the photographs appeared stable and no significant erosion or other problems were identified with this aerial
inspection.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 4
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2
Page 2 of 4
