O?'1 rc <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED <br />DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />proposes to Approve Technical <br />Revision Application No. 41 (TR-41) <br />for the Keenesburg Strip Mine <br />(Permit No. C-1981-028), submitted <br />by Coors Energy Company (CEC). <br />With Ti CEC is applying for a <br />change in the post-mining land use <br />for a very small area (less than 0.1 <br />acre) in Area 29. The area will be <br />part of a Petroleum Development <br />Corporation (PDC) drill pad and will <br />be changed to an "industrial" use. <br />0;-4101 7?01 <br />44470 /1, ; 1 <br />l 464 <br />1911, 1 <br />The Keenesburg Strip Mine is a <br />surface coal mine located in Weld_ _ <br />-Co`unty; approximate y 7 mites north <br />of Keenesburg, Colorado. Coal <br />interest is State and private, and the <br />surface affected is Private land. <br />The permit area encompasses <br />approximately 612.50 acres. <br />This proposed decision is based on <br />a finding that the proposed <br />operation will comply with all <br />requirements of the Colorado <br />Surface Coal Mining Reclamation <br />Act, Section 34 33 101, et seq., <br />C.R.S., and the regulations <br />promulgated thereunder. <br />Copies of the proposed decision, <br />including stipulations, are on file for <br />public inspection at the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety, Room 215, Centennial <br />Building, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Denver, Colorado 80203. Persons <br />with an interest that may be <br />adversely affected by the proposed <br />decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board on the proposed <br />decision.
