Dear Board Members:
Please disapprove the Application to Convert a 110(2) Operation to a
112d-1 Operation (CN-01) by Wildcat Mining Corporation. Wildcat Mining has a
record of blatant disregard for stop work orders and regulations from almost all
government entities involved in their mining operation. If Wildcat Mining cannot
comply with the simpler 110(2) permit rules, they cannot reasonably be expected
to comply with the larger and more complex regulations of the 112d-1 permit
application.
La Plata Canyon will be destroyed and not properly reclaimed. Thus, the
taxpayers will have another environmental disaster to clean up and the beauty of
our Canyon will be gone forever, not to mention the impact on the La Plata River.
As of January 24, 2011, the application by Wildcat Mining Corporation had
not been filed with the La Plata County Clerk and Recorder, which is required
before the public notice is published. Once again Wildcat Mining Corporation
begins violating government regulations, the first of many more to come. Don't
let them continue to disregard our government that is here to protect us.
Disapprove the application for Wildcat Mining Corporation. Thank you for
serving the citizens of Colorado.
