Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division renewed Mining Permit No. C-1981-035 to National King Coal, LLC for the King Coal Mine <br />on August 18, 2007. The underground coal mine is located in La Plata County, approximately 7 miles <br />southwest of Hesperus, Colorado. The coal is under Federal ownership and the surface is under Private <br />ownership.
