Pamit No. COG-500000 <br /> <br />CDPS GENERAL PERMIT <br />FOR SAND AND GRAVEL MINING AND PROCESSING <br />(AND OTHER NONMETALLIC MINERALS EXCEPT FUEL) <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />COLORADO DISCHARGE PERMIT SYSTEM <br />In compliance with the provisions of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act, (25-8-101 et seq., CRS, 1973 as amended) and the Federal Water Pollution <br />C ntrol Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.; the "Act), this permit authorizes the discharge of process water and stormwater associated with <br />operations engaged in mining and processing of sand and gravel (including rock and stone used as aggregdte? and mining and quarrying of other <br />nonmetallic minerals except fuels, certified under this pemrit, from those locations specified throughout the State of Colorado to specified waters oftbc <br />State. Such discharges shall be in ice with the conditions of tins permit. <br />This permit specifically authorizes the facility listed on page I of this permit to discharge process water and/or stormwater associated with operations <br />engaged in mining and processing of sand and gravel (including rock and stone used as aggregate), and mining and quarrying of other nonmetallic <br />minerals except fuels, as of this date, in accordance with the pmm requirements and conditions set forth in Parts I and 11 hereof. All discharges <br />authorized herein shall be consistent with the terms and conditions of this permit <br />Any party may demand an adjudicatKy hearing withm thirty (30) days of the issuance of this general pent detcamnation, per the Colorado <br />Discharge Permit System Reguhhtiams, RegulatkmNo. 51(5 CCR 1002-61). Should the applicant choose to contest anyoftbe effluent limit ous, <br />monitoring requirements or other conditions contamed herein, the applicant must comply with X24-4-104 CRS and the Colmdo Discbarge. <br />Permit System Regulations. Failure to congest my such effiuent limitation, mpg requiren=24 or other condition, constitutes consent to the <br />condition by the Applicant.
