Dear Mr. Posey,
Due to the complexity of the Notice of Intent to Conduct Prospecting (NOI) submitted by Shell
Exploration & Production Company on December 30, 2010 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
Safety (Division) will require an additional thirty (30) days to review the NOI. Therefore, the original
deadline for notification of deficiencies of February 2, 2011 cannot be met. The new deadline is March
4, 2011.
