The relevant pond and ditch
cross-sections, as well as outlet and inlet details were compiled from the permit application
drawings and condensed onto one sheet. The as-built plan drawing of the Mine Water
Treatment System ponds (Outfall 017) submitted in the MR-369 application was generated by
a subsequent topographical survey, so details of the outlet structures, etc.. were not included.
Although MCC's contract has expired with the engineering firm that completed the designs of
the secondary mine water treatment pond that was permitted and built last year (per TR-116),
MCC will request that copies of these drawings be stamped and signed by their P.E. and will
provide them to the Division when received.
Please contact me at (970) 929-2238 or by e-mail should you have questions regarding this
submittal.
Sincerely,
?Iwt&e??Ivw
Kathleen G.
