(See Notes #1 & #2) <br />Note #1: <br />Moffat County has an average inventory of 17 active gravel pits and we have only one crusher, which <br />operates approximately seven months out of the year. Typically, we expect to have new disturbance <br />in two gravel pits (or less) and occasional reclamation activity in one. That means our only activity will <br />be stockpile reduction and minor pit-run excavation in at least 14 of our gravel pits each year. No <br />new disturbances or reclamation will have occurred during the previous year and no new <br />changes to the previous year's map are necessary. No new map is required. <br />Note #2: <br />Moffat County does not routinely make annual construction, mining and reclamation plans for each pit. <br />Our gravel activity each year is determined by necessity, emergency, budget restraints, and resource <br />availability.
