Waste Stream Characterization
On January 4, 2011 a sample was collected and prepared to take to Evergreen Analytical Lab by Ryan McHale, PE.
The sample was taken from the surface of the Robert Fulton waste rock dump. Approximately 1.0 lb of the
relatively dry sample was placed in a polyethylene zip-lock bag for delivery to the lab.
Following the consultation of DRMS staff, the following tests were ordered to be performed:
• Solid components - Synthetic Precipitation Leaching Procedure (SPLP) Method 1312, Western
o Metals to be tested sliall include: Al, As, Ba, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Pb, Mn, Hg, Se, Ag, and Zn.
• Resulting leachate from above SPLP test - pH
