3. Compensation. In consideration of the Work to be performed pursuant to this <br />Agreement, the District shall pay Skanska an amount not to exceed below listed <br />quantities ("Contract Price"). The final Contract Price shall be determined by using the <br />following pricing schedule: <br />Task Estimated Price Unit-Rate/Est. Quantity <br />Mobilization U <br />Excavate/Stockpile Pit Run "memo <br />Excavate/Haul/Grade Wetlands <br />Topsoil in Wetland Area <br />Removal of the Existing Subsurface lona <br />Drainage System <br />Construction of the New Pond Outlet <br />Total Estimated Contract Price <br />4. Changes in the A reement. <br />a. The District may order mutually agreed to work changes in the nature of <br />additions, deletions, or modifications, without invalidating this Agreement. <br />b. All changes to this Agreement must be authorized by a written Change Order <br />signed by the District, and Skanska is entitled to compensation for work on the Project outside <br />the Scope of Work as set forth in this Agreement. Work shall be changed, and the Contract Price <br />and Contract Completion Date shall be modified only as set out in a written Change Order. Any <br />changes in the Contract Price shall be based upon the unit-rates set forth in Paragraph 3 above, <br />unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Parties. The Parties acknowledge that a change in <br />the quantity of materials greater than fifteen-percent may require an adjustment to cost. <br />c. Any adjustments in the Contract Price resulting in a credit or a charge to the <br />District shall be determined by mutual agreement of the Parties before starting the work involved <br />in the change as set forth in the Change Order. <br />5. Responsibilities of Skanska. <br />a. Skanska shall coordinate its Work with Bikis Water Consultants, LLC, the <br />consulting firm retained by the District to assist with the Project (`Bikis").
