Compliance With Mine Plan N -Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA -Other NA -Special Categories Of Mining <br /> R -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection conducted by Janet Binns of CDRMS. The mine site had received <br /> measurable snowfall 1/9-1/10/2011. According to Mr. George Patterson of Energy Fuels Coal Inc. <br /> (phone message 1/10/2011), approximately 8"of snow was measured in the area from the storm. <br /> Approximately 4"to 5"of snow remained on site during the inspection on 1/13/2011. The weather <br /> was partly cloudy and warm—40 degrees. Although the snow was melting, melt off was not running <br /> off,but apparently was soaking into the ground. The mine site is a reclaimed underground mine. No <br /> mining activities other than monitoring and periodic maintenance are occurring on the mine site. No <br /> mine personnel were on site. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05❑❑Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4,Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; <br /> Both ponds at the mine site are snow covered with no frozen pool of water in the bottom. Mine site is <br /> snow covered. Ditches are snow covered with no flow occurring during the inspection. No concerns were noted <br /> with ponds or ditches. <br /> PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES—Rule 4.10 and 4.11 RDA is snow covered with no <br /> recent activity observed. TR38 is currently being reviewed by the Division for termination of quarterly refuse pile <br /> inspections. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4)❑❑Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5)and(6)/4.03.2(5)and <br /> (6) <br /> The access road was snow covered with approximately 4"of snow. Fresh vehicle tire tracks were <br /> observed on the access road up to the gate to the refuse pile road. This gate has been wired shut.
