e.) Please label all the adjoining surface owners of record within 200 feet of the
permit boundary.
6.4.5 EXHIBIT E - Reclamation Plan
2.) Please clarify, if fertilizer and/or manure will be applied during reclamation. If
fertilizer will be applied, please indicate the type of fertilizer to be used and the ratios of
Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium to be applied. Also, please indicate how many
pounds per acre of this fertilizer will be applied. For the manure application, please
indicate how much manure will be applied per acre to the site.
3.) One main road and several auxiliary roads are located at the site. Please indicate how
these roads will be reclaimed? Will they be scarified, topsoiled and revegetated? Will
any portions of the roads be left after reclamation?
6.4.6 EXHIBIT F - Reclamation Plan Map
The faxed copy of the reclamation plan map received today is very similar to the August
16, 2010 map.
4.) Using the most recent map submitted, please make the following
corrections/additions :
a.) The corrected map must be signed by the registered land surveyor,
professional engineer or qualified person who prepared it.
b.) Please indicate the date the updated map was created.
c.) Ensure the map is drawn to a scale no large than 1 inch =50 feet or smaller
than 1 inch = 660 feet.
d.) Please remove the overburden/topsoil stockpiles depicted on the map. This
material will need to be used to reclaim the affected land, thus no stockpiles
should exist at the site after reclamation.
e.) Please depict how the roads leading into the mine area will be reclaimed.
f.) Please indicate on the map the entire affected land will be reclaimed to
"pastureland".
g.) This map must depict the topography of the reclaimed land with contour lines
of sufficient detail to portray the direction and rate of slope which should be no
steeper than a 3:1 horizontal to vertical ratio. Or to complete this requirement,
submit a cross section drawing indicating the final configurations and slopes of
the affected land. Please see the example below:
2
