Trapper, SL-11 - Phase I Bond Release
Trapper Mining Co.
Permit Numbers DBMS: C-1981-010
OSM: C-010-81
Trapper Mining Company
SL-11 Phase I Bond Release, Re-inspection
Monday, November 8, 2010 1:30-4:00
Weather: Windy, overcast, 50's
Attendees
Rob Zuber, DRMS
Dan Hernandez, DRMS
Graham Roberts, Trapper Mine
Christy Hulsman, OSM
11/8/2010
Christy Hulsman
A re-inspection of a portion of the SL-11 bond release area at the Trapper Mine was conducted on
November 8, 2010. The area was re-inspected due to the need for major rill and gully repairs in the F-
AB-08 section after the April 20, 2010 Bond Release inspection. The scope of the repairs was large
enough to delay bond release. The repaired areas had been completed one month prior to inspection.
The re-graded areas were hand-seeded and mulched with dead brush mixed in to decrease erosion.
The repairs appear effective and appear to be stable enough to prevent future rills and gullies from
forming in the same locations.
The section of the contour ditch blow-out has been successfully repaired. The ditch is now large enough
and stable enough to handle the runoff from the surrounding drainage area.
