Pineda <br />Director <br />Re: Gold Digger I Prospect; Park County; DRMS File No. P-2009-007 <br />Notice of Deficient Financial Warranty <br />Dear Mr. Garrison: <br />The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (Division) approved your Notice of Intent to Conduct <br />Prospecting Operations (NOI) on 12 June 2009 and the financial warranty for the operation was determined <br />by the Division to be $2,000 in accordance with § 34-32-113(4)(a) C.R.S. However, the Division has yet to <br />receive the required financial warranty. If the required financial warranty is not received within 60 days of <br />the mailing date of this letter, your NOI will be terminated and you will be required to submit and receive <br />authorization for a new application before you can commence prospecting. In addition, if this file is <br />terminated, an inspection of the site will be conducted and any disturbance associated with this site that <br />exceeds 1600 square feet in area would be considered prospecting without a permit and subject to a possible <br />violation. <br />Enclosed for your use is a One Site Prospecting Financial Warranty Form. This form is for cash deposit and <br />can be used if the site is on USFS or BLM lands. If this is not the specific form that you need for the <br />financial warranty, please contact either Mary Rodriguez at 303-866-3567 x8138 or Alysha Hernandez at 303- <br />866-3567 x8125 to obtain the appropriate form. Forms may also be downloaded from our website at: <br />http://mining.state.co.us/PrcispectingForms.htm <br />Feel free to call me with questions at (303) 866-3567 x8108.
