TESTING AND GROUTING PROCEDURES <br />The corehole will be grouted in three stages moving upward (Table 2). The first stage will include <br />the bedrock below the 2-inch steel casing and will be grouted by setting a packer just below the top <br />of bedrock and injecting grout into the section below. The second stage will include the transition <br />between bedrock corehole and iron casing pipe and will be grouted by setting a packer in an intact <br />section of the 2-inch casing approximately 10 feet above the transition and injecting grout into the <br />section below. The third stage will include the remaining section of the damaged 2-inch casing and <br />will be grouted by setting a packer near the top of the casing and injecting grout into the section <br />below. Grouting pressures in the potentially fractured bedrock will be limited to 2 psi per foot of <br />depth or less referenced to the center of the section. Grouting pressure in the unconsolidated <br />sections will be limited to less than 1 psi per foot of depth at the center of the section. <br />4109C.110106 <br />
