ame <br />Earth & Environmental <br />AMEC observed construction of the Primary Underdrain. <br />Testing Summary <br />Laboratory testing continued (Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, and Moisture-Density <br />Compaction testing) for sampled materials. <br />GENERAL PROJECT ITEMS <br />Summary of Concerns: <br />No concerns <br />Summary of Planning Items: <br />Continue placing structural fill within the Phase 5 VLF footprint. <br />Continue processing LVSCF at the Dump 4 LVSCF Processing area <br />Continue clearing, grubbing, and stripping at the East Cresson Clay Borrow. <br />Continue construction of the soil liner fill processing plant at the East Cresson Clay Borrow. <br />Continue construction of the Primary Underdrain. <br />Continue confirmatory drilling for UG #3012 <br />Summary of Non-conformances: <br />None Issued <br />Summary of Meetings and Discussions: <br />CC& V.• <br />CC&V held a Weekly Construction meeting on February 2, 2010. Items discussed included Safety, <br />Environmental, Schedule, QC documentation, and CQA. <br />Spoke with Ron Roberts concerning permeability results from soil liner fill processed at the South <br />Cresson Clay borrow. The test results showed that the soil liner fill processed recently would have to be <br />placed at +3% moisture. Samples of the remaining unprocessed material were obtained for permeability <br />testing. <br />Spoke with Tom Shepard (Projects) and Bill Newman (Ames) concerning the remaining clay at the South <br />Cresson Clay borrow. The decision was made to move the soil liner fill processing plant to the East <br />Cresson Clay borrow. <br />Ames Construction: <br />Daily Safety/Tailgate Meetings: AMEC personnel attended the Ames daily safety meeting held prior to <br />the start of shift. Discussions centered on safety and planned work activities. <br />AMEC: <br />John Lupo was onsite Wednesday (2/3/2010) to inspect encountered underground workings.
