The working was inspected by an AMEC representative. Ames survey
captured the location and the working was identified as UG#3012.
Confirmatory drilling was performed for Underground Working #3012. A drill pattern was set out
by an AMEC field representative. Eleven holes were dilled encountering four voids. An
approximate total of 550 feet was drilled. An AMEC representative observed the confirmatory
drilling constantly.
B) Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation
Remediation of Underground Workings #3006 and #3007 (Thompson shaft) continued using a
CAT 330 excavator to prepare the workings for a concrete plug. The working walls were laid back
into competent rock at approximately a 1.5:1 slope. Remediation was observed by an AMEC
representative constantly. Concrete blankets were placed over the working to keep snow from
entering it.
C) Lateral/Slot Remediation
No work performed during the week.
VLF Weekly Report WE 02.06.10.D.doc
