The gate on the primary discharge pipe was closed and the emergency <br />spillway was clear of any blockage. The collection ditch leading into the sediment pond had a good vegetative <br />cover and had enough capacity. <br />The ice on the surface of the water in the hillside spring water treatment pond was beginning to melt. The pond <br />was discharging at about 10 gpm and the discharge was orange in color. This orange colored water has been <br />shown to be in compliance with water quality standards. <br />The caps were on both of the alluvial wells. <br />ROADS - Rule 4.03 ? The road was not blocked by any debris from the adjacent <br />property and the guardrail was up along the road. The bridge was passable. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS - Rule 4.02: <br />The mine identification sign and the records location sign were on the same post at the top of the hill.
