Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br />N - Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION - Rule 4.17: <br />There were no problems with fugitive dust and there were no problems with coal dust being tracked onto <br />the highway. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 ? ? Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br />4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br />Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage - Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br />Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />Pond B was ice covered. The pond embankment was stable and discharge structures were in place. The <br />culverts and ditches leading into pond B were functional. Riprap was in place. <br />Pond J was dry and the collection ditches and culverts leading into pond J had sufficient capacity. <br />The collection ditches along the east spur line had sufficient capacity as well. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The storage area underneath the overhead conveyor was well organized. The silt fence was up between the <br />storage area and the Fire Mountain Canal. No problems were noted with the overhead conveyor itself. <br />No problems were observed along the east spur line. Cut and fill slopes were stable. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS - Rule 4.02: <br />The mine identification sign was up at the main entrance and the required information was on the sign. <br />The same was true at the entrance to the overhead conveyor storage area. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 4 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 2 of 4
