TETRA TECH January 3, 2011 Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 Denver, CO 80203 RE: Iverson Mine 112 Reclamation Permit Application To Whom it May Concern: Attached please find a 112 Reclamation Permit application for the Iverson Mine. This application is being submitted on behalf of Lafarge West, Inc., in care of Anne Best Johnson, AICP. We are submitting this application to permit the Iverson property for mining by Lafarge. The Iverson property is located in Weld County, Colorado off of F Street near the City of Greeley and adjacent to the Cache la Poudre River. No material processing is proposed to occur at the Iverson Mine site. All material will be conveyed to Lafarge's existing 35th Avenue Mine site for processing. Lafarge has obtained an easement across a piece of property owned by the City of Greeley to place the conveyor as well as a license agreement from Great Western Railway to cross their railroad tracks with the conveyor; this land is included within the Iverson Mine permit boundary.
