t At CCC, an Access database is currently used to hold the large volume of drill hole data.
There are a number of general comments with regards to the databases that need to be
addressed:
The Database Manager at CCC understands the use of the specific database
systems. He has constructed a series of tables that reflect the complexity of the
data at CCC (Figure 3.1).
Figure 3 -1: Table Relations in the Coal Database at CCC
•
•
Most of the drill holes in both the Colowyo and Collom areas have been included in
the database. A significant number of holes drilled in the mined out areas of East
Pit have been omitted. These should be added to complete the database, and
provide additional information for resource estimation and reconciliation purpose.
CCC is continuing a drilling campaign in 2005. These data are being added as they
become available.
Unknown information in the database is left as blank fields. TS was advised that
MineScape ignores blank values, eg when incremental plies are composited.
RIO
TINTO
BR3273: FINAL Version: 1 3 'I'rrlurtnl w,.'..•
eey
s.r.a r..
Oree'm
rA N2
wYti
6Y
ptl Nrt
-
mp
mlbenw
o„ym
Iw...,..
w
.cnw
w
um
avm.o
eaom
mam
p yrt
 Iwmw
Fm.}pT
Liter
•'bJ.
PmIq
 imA
wuvtl
Yi rA
5r
, p1s.d
 r41Y
Rk .se m
roaN
I mplE
lwwn.. •.
Most of the drill holes in both the Colowyo and Collom areas have been included in
the database.
