8.3.2 Collom Mine Area (Phase 1 & 2) Resource Estimate
The CMA (Phase 1 & 2) is estimated to contain approximately 184.4 million
recoverable tons of coal, see Table 8.3. Colowyo controls approximately 74.2
million recoverable tons of coal in the northern end of the CMA. An
estimated additional 110.2 million tons of unleased Federal coal also exists in
the CMA. The "Measured + Indicated" resource base is estimated to contain
183.8 million recoverable tons with an estimated recovery factor of 90 %.
