It features the change in road alignment and <br />mdw placement for the E3-26/22.5 and 18.5 methane drainage locations that are part of TR123. Mountain Coal is now <br />calling these the E3-25/21 and 17 mdw pads respectively due to alignment changes. As you can see there is a raptor <br />nest location just to the south of the access road and mdw pads. In 2010 John Monarch found an active Cooper's hawk <br />nest that fledged two chicks and it was a new nest location that he had not found in years past. This nest location will be <br />surveyed again by John in May and if it is active Mountain Coal will have to observe the timing limitation from February 1 <br />through August 15. This nest will also have to be monitored in the coming years because it is in close proximity to the E4- <br />20 and E4-24 mdw pads and their access.
