Enter header data*
2. Enter lithology data
3. Applied adjustments for depth
4. Enter geotechnical data (if applicable)
5. Print header, lithology and geotechnical reports
6. Field geologists review reports and mark changes
7. Update drill hole database (DHDB) with appropriate edits
8. Prepare Strip log and compare lithology data to geophysical logs. Note
differences observed.
9. Update DHDB with appropriate edits.
10. Prepare final drill hole reports
a. Print one copy for files
b. Prepare PDF format copy for online files
The general outline of coal quality entry and database validation
1. Compile complete sample analyses from laboratory. Cross reference against
sample instruction forms.
2. Review cross -plots of proximate data and MAF Btu data.
3. Batch load into DHDB tables.
4. Reconcile lithological seam depths with sample depths.
a. Adjust lithology depths or sample depths to provide a seamless
database.
5. Prepare and print quality reports and compare against certified laboratory
reports.
6. Update DHDB with any appropriate edits
7. Prepare final quality reports
a. Print one copy for files
b.
