Allft. <br />amec <br />Earth & Environmental <br />G) Material Processing <br />1) South Cresson Clay Processing Area <br />Processing of Soil Liner Fill material continued at the South Cresson Clay Process. A CAT D-8 <br />dozer, a CAT 320 excavator, and a CAT 966 front-end loader were used to process the material. <br />Location This <br /> <br />ins <br />to Cumulative <br />Comments <br />So Cresson Clay Processing 4,788 145,114 <br />Squaw Gulch Processing 0 35,816 Processing in area complete. <br />Total 4,788 177,022 <br />H) ADR and Crusher Waterlines <br />Pipe trench excavation and bedding was performed throughout the week for the Crushing <br />waterline using a CAT 330 excavator and a CAT 980 front-end loader. The pipe bedding material <br />was moisture conditioned and compacted using the bucket of the CAT 330 excavator. <br />Approximately 600 linear feet of pipe trench was excavated and bedded during the week. <br />Approximately 510 linear feet of 10" and 12" HDPE pipe were placed and air pressure tested for <br />the ADR waterline construction. Pipe bedding was placed over the pipe, after the pressure test was <br />performed, using a CAT 966 front-end loader and a CAT 330 excavator. Approximately 510 linear <br />feet of the pipe was backfilled. <br />Construction of air/vacuum valves and other fittings was performed through out the week. <br />I) Miscellaneous <br />No work performed during the week. <br />III) Underground Workings <br />A) Drilling <br />Confirmation drilling was performed at Underground Workings #3006 and #3007. A drill pattern <br />was established by an AMEC representative around the perimeter of the workings on four-foot <br />centers. Thirty-one holes were drilled during the week. Voids were encountered at nine hole <br />locations at depths between 15 and 50 feet. An approximate total of 1550 feet was drilled during <br />the week. <br />B) Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation <br />No work performed during the week. <br />C) Lateral/Slot Remediation <br />No work performed during the week. <br />IV) Storm Water Management Structures <br />A) Control Structures <br />No work performed during the week. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 12.05.09.D.doc
