A CAT D-8
dozer, a CAT 320 excavator, and a CAT 966 front-end loader were used to process the material.
Location This

ins
to Cumulative
Comments
So Cresson Clay Processing 4,788 145,114
Squaw Gulch Processing 0 35,816 Processing in area complete.
Total 4,788 177,022
H) ADR and Crusher Waterlines
Pipe trench excavation and bedding was performed throughout the week for the Crushing
waterline using a CAT 330 excavator and a CAT 980 front-end loader. The pipe bedding material
was moisture conditioned and compacted using the bucket of the CAT 330 excavator.
Approximately 600 linear feet of pipe trench was excavated and bedded during the week.
Approximately 510 linear feet of 10" and 12" HDPE pipe were placed and air pressure tested for
the ADR waterline construction. Pipe bedding was placed over the pipe, after the pressure test was
performed, using a CAT 966 front-end loader and a CAT 330 excavator. Approximately 510 linear
feet of the pipe was backfilled.
Construction of air/vacuum valves and other fittings was performed through out the week.
I) Miscellaneous
No work performed during the week.
III) Underground Workings
A) Drilling
Confirmation drilling was performed at Underground Workings #3006 and #3007. A drill pattern
was established by an AMEC representative around the perimeter of the workings on four-foot
centers. Thirty-one holes were drilled during the week. Voids were encountered at nine hole
locations at depths between 15 and 50 feet. An approximate total of 1550 feet was drilled during
the week.
B) Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation
No work performed during the week.
C) Lateral/Slot Remediation
No work performed during the week.
IV) Storm Water Management Structures
A) Control Structures
No work performed during the week.
VLF Weekly Report WE 12.05.09.D.doc
